Dr. Debjani Sihi is an Assistant Professor at Dept of Environmental Sciences, Emory University. She is a biogeochemist (or, ecosystem ecologist) and we are very excited that she is here with us today. Broadly, her research interests lie in soil organic matter dynamics and greenhouse gas emissions from natural and managed systems.She uses biogeochemical models to evaluate the fate of soil (and ecosystem) carbon (and nutrient) in the face of climate change. She aspires to address a wide range of environmental problems at soil-climate-health-policy nexus under the umbrella of sustainability
